I am ONE year old!

I am ONE YEAR old! I am walking ALL of the time now, and not crawling at all. I am waving hello and good-bye, and am even able to say "bye".  I have been eating all solid foods for a few months now, but Mom and Dad let me try more and more new foods everyday! At my 12 month doctor's check-up, I weighed 19 lbs and 6.5 oz, and was 29 inches tall. I grew 9 inches this year and gained 12 lbs and 5.5 oz, can you believe it!?
 I had a blast at my Safari animals-themed birthday party, eating cake and playing with my family and friends. On the day of my actual birthday, I celebrated with my friends at school, and also Mom and Dad at home. I hope you enjoy the photos from my birthday party, and from the day of my birthday. You will notice that Mom took the very last of my sticker belly photos, the 12 month shot. I decided to sit still just a tiny bit since this was the last one.

My first Christmas

I had so much fun celebrating my first Christmas! It was a blast to open presents and spend time with my loved ones. Most importantly, I was walking by my first Christmas! In the week leading up to Christmas, I was taking more and more steps each day, but by Christmas Day I was pretty much walking at least half of the time as crawling, if not more!
